Dr. Mike Stacy is a seasoned educational leader with 28 years of experience in Kentucky public education. His career includes impactful roles at Georgetown College and Woodford County Schools, culminating in his most recent position as Superintendent of Beechwood Independent Schools—one of the state’s highest-performing districts.

Throughout his career, Dr. Stacy has developed a strong reputation for his ability to lead with integrity, build collaborative school cultures, and implement strategic initiatives that support long-term success. His cross-district experience gives him a broad perspective on the diverse challenges Kentucky school leaders face today, from academic performance to operational efficiency.
Dr. Stacy has extensive experience in school finance, facilities planning, and capital project execution, having overseen major construction initiatives and funding strategies tailored to the unique needs of each community he has served. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Spalding University, a Master’s in Education from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown College.
